Soil Monitor Privacy Policy

Soil Monitor connects to compatible Bluetooth soil testing devices and displays soil measurement data on the user's device.

Data Collection

Soil Monitor does not collect personal data. The app does not require an account, does not use analytics, does not use advertising, and does not track users across apps or websites.

Local Data Storage

Soil measurement records saved by the user are stored locally on the user's device. These records may include soil humidity, temperature, conductivity, pH, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, fertility, and timestamps.

The app may also store the user's language preference locally on the device.

Data Sharing

Soil Monitor does not upload soil measurement data to a server and does not share data with third parties. If the user chooses to export or share a CSV file, the user controls where that file is sent through the iOS share sheet.

Bluetooth

Soil Monitor uses Bluetooth only to scan for and connect to compatible soil testing devices. Bluetooth access is required for the app's main device connection feature.
